‘Dream Weaving’ – a community arts event presented by the Hutt St Centre
Would you like to help homeless and vulnerable people in Adelaide? Yes you can, by coming along to the ‘Dream Weaving’ event on Thursday December 6th 2018 and make a donation to the Hutt Street Centre. We would love to see you!
I have had the privilege of working for the Hutt Street Centre for the last few years off and on with music and wellbeing programs. The staff at Hutt St do an amazing job by supporting people who are homeless, at risk, or vulnerable. One of their programs is ‘The Harmony Weavers’ Womens Wellbeing Choir which I co-facilitate each week with fellow music-sister Michelle Byrne. Throughout this year we’ve met for singing, sound healing, meditation and social time. It’s been a true highlight of my life!
The Harmony Weavers is sharing some songs at the ‘Dream Weaving’ event in collaboration with Hutt Street Centre’s Drama Group, facilitated by incredible actress (and my good friend!) Bronwen James. I would really love to see you there to help us share our weaving of dreams with you through poems, songs, music and stories. Here’s the details:
