In 2004 Heather developed a new and unusually beautiful musical instrument she has named the ‘Steel Drum Harp' with fellow musician and friend Todd Telford.

The Steel Drum Harp is a "one of a kind" instrument combining different instrumental elements into one. Todd built the Steel Drum Harp from a 44 gallon steel drum, harp strings and Tibetan singing bowls. The Steel Drum Harp is playable with various hand made mallets and sticks, plucked with the fingers and bowed with a cello bow. The notes range from very deep to very high, resonating long and short.

The seven tracks on Harmonic Rainbow embrace the seven musical chakra notes, which when listened to help heal and ignite the chakra energy centres in the body. Accompanying the Steel Drum Harp is Heather's open hearted vocals creating rich overtones and ethereal harmonics. The sounds become layered and seamlessly weave together throughout Harmonic Rainbow inviting the listener to "listen with the third ear" and to feel the sound with the whole body.

Earth was laid down… wind creaked at the door…
Fire under the kettle… the water started to move
Our spirits elevated… metal meditated…
